When applying for a permit to carry a pistol please follow the following directions:
- Apply in person, in the county of your residence, mailed applications are NOT accepted
- If you are not a resident of Minnesota you can apply at any Minnesota Sheriffs office
- Your signed certificate of completion (which includes the course content and live fire qualification)
- Application fee (maximum of $100)
- Valid (not expired) U.S. Government issued photo identification
